Fionet and Audere partner to deliver AI-powered digital health solutions to community primary care
Joint solution promises to make artificial intelligence accessible at unprecedented scale.
Seattle, WA, June 19, 2024 – Audere, a digital health non-profit developing HealthPulse™ solutions to advance health equity, today announced the signing of an agreement with Fionet Inc to incorporate HealthPulse AI into Fionet Suite, groundbreaking digital tools that deliver a mobile Health IT platform for community-based primary care, running on standard mobile devices.
Fionet Suite comprises a mobile longitudinal EMR, case management guidance integrated with supportive supervision, point-of-care diagnostic testing, and automated large-scale data capture and analytics. Fionet Suite also includes operational management support (e.g., campaign, stock, referrals elsewhere in the healthcare chain, including pharmacies) and is interoperable with other apps and databases, persisting all data in a FHIR-compatible central database.
HealthPulse AI augments Fionet Suite with AI-powered interpretation of rapid diagnostic tests, enabling quality-assurance checks, disease surveillance, and supportive supervision for community health workers, health posts, and facility-based healthcare professionals. Fionet works with ministries of health to deploy their Fionet Suite nationally, creating an opportunity for high-impact outcomes with AI-powered solutions at scale.
"Fionet is committed to delivering digital tools that cut the performance gap between hospitals, where healthcare happens best, and community-based primary care, where healthcare happens most. With Audere, we have a like-minded partner whose innovative AI solutions complement ours well. We are excited to build a long, successful collaboration with the Audere team."
Dr. Michael Greenberg, Founder and CEO, Fionet
Audere’s HealthPulse AI delivers highly accurate AI models that can be easily integrated into primary care or targeted digital health solutions that drive clinical and operational workflows, even in resource-constrained settings where internet access is a challenge. HealthPulse AI supports all WHO prequalified malaria RDTs and most HIV RDTs, achieving interpretation accuracy rates that often exceed 98%, while running on commodity smartphones that are common in low- and middle-income countries. Based on a Foundation Model that can read any standard RDT, HealthPulse AI enables health programs to introduce new tests seamlessly in response to emerging threats.
“I am proud to partner with Fionet to deliver innovative solutions to improve patient care and generate AI-driven insights. Audere’s HealthPulse AI complements the Fionet Suite, which is the perfect solution to help measure the impact of AI on both clinical and operational workflows. We are excited to be working with visionaries such as Dr. Greenberg and the entire Fionet team.”
