Dr Gina Itzikowitz is a medical doctor (MBBCh, Cum Laude) with a specific interest in the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to healthcare to improve patient outcomes and streamline healthcare processes (AI in Healthcare, MIT). Her diverse background includes paediatrics and adolescent health (DCH) (Part 1 Paediatrics Exam, Leslie Rabinowitz Medal), alongside clinical research in paediatric lung disease, cardiac disease, neuro-developmental disorders, HIV, TB, and other infectious diseases (MSc in Biostatistics and Epidemiology, University of Oxford; Chevening Scholarship). Dr Itzikowitz is deeply passionate about ensuring that the rapid advancements in AI are adapted to benefit low- and middle-income countries, striving to narrow the health equity gap and ensure that all populations have access to innovative, life-changing healthcare solutions.
