Dr. Jirair Ratevosian

Dr. Jirair Ratevosian joins Audere as a Senior Advisor, bringing extensive expertise in HIV policy, coalition building, and implementing health innovations. A seasoned global health leader, Jirair has played pivotal roles in advancing equitable HIV prevention strategies, mobilizing resources, and uniting diverse stakeholders to address public health challenges. With a track record of driving impactful policies and fostering partnerships across governments, communities, and the private sector, he is committed to accelerating innovation to improve health outcomes worldwide.

Dr. Ratevosian's career spans leadership roles in government, academia, and the private sector. As former Chief of Staff at the U.S. State Department's Bureau of Global Health Security and Diplomacy, he advanced U.S. global health priorities, building coalitions to address HIV and health equity worldwide. Previously, as Legislative Director to Congresswoman Barbara Lee, he helped shape landmark HIV policies, including PEPFAR reauthorization and global health equity initiatives. Jirair also held a leadership role at Gilead Sciences, where he led efforts to expand access to life-saving HIV prevention and treatment innovations globally.

Jirair holds a Doctorate in Public Health (DrPH) from Johns Hopkins University and is currently jointly appointed at Yale and Duke Universities. His expertise in policy, coalition building, and integrating cutting-edge technologies has made him a trusted leader in the fight against HIV and a champion for health innovation.
