Audere Receives Second Innovation Grant from Patrick J. McGovern Foundation
Grant will support the development of HealthPulse AI Foundation Foundry, enabling partners to create their own localized, AI-powered solutions.
Seattle, WA, September 3, 2024 – Audere, a global digital health non-profit developing HealthPulse™ solutions to advance health equity in resource-limited communities worldwide, celebrates the announcement of funding for HealthPulse AI Foundation Foundry that will extend Audere’s HealthPulse suite of AI-powered solutions. Audere has received a total of $1.3M in funding from the Patrick J. McGovern Foundation (PJMF), in addition to support from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and other global health partners.

In 2023, PJMF awarded a grant to Audere to build an AI-powered computer vision (CV) model that could interpret any standard rapid diagnostic test (RDT) for any condition and could operate in the cloud or on low end smartphone devices. Foundation Foundry builds on this initial investment, allowing organizations to leverage Audere’s years of AI-development expertise, along with its local partner ecosystem, to easily build and manage their own AI-powered solutions. Starting with building support for new RDT computer vision AI models, Foundation Foundry will provide tooling that allows organizations to:
Contribute data sets for the creation of new CV models;
Leverage Audere’s ecosystem of trained, validated data labelers;
Seamlessly fine tune and generate AI models that can be easily embedded into their solutions to satisfy their use cases; and
Leverage Audere’s ecosystem to continually monitor AI model performance and accuracy.
Over time, Foundation Foundry will be extended to support other forms of artificial intelligence.
